Short answer: Early Access launched 15 September 2026 with three races, three classes, Act 1 across three chapters, a level cap of 25, nine pets, new region bosses and a repeatable deed endgame. The store page's “8 races, 6 classes, 48 archetypes” figure is the 1.0 target, not the launch build.

The distinction that matters most

Almost every third-party Dimraeth page currently repeats the store page’s headline numbers as though they describe the live game. They do not. The store page describes where the game is going; Mudtek’s release announcement describes where it is now.

Official Launch scope

Mudtek's 15 September 2026 announcement sets out the launch scope as a bullet list. We quote the lead-in and each item exactly as published, because collapsing the list into a single sentence would imply a sentence structure the announcement does not use:

“On the game itself we have a lot of new content so the basics of what to expect:”

  • “3 races and classes (Elf, Minotaur and Human) and (Shadow, Mage, and Brawler)”
  • “Our act 1 story which develops over 3 chapters”
  • “New content: Pets, Elites and Major Bosses, More Building, New Equipment, Skill Tree Overhaul, Difficulty levels and more”
  • “A level cap of 25”
  • “For the end game a repeatable deed system with progressive difficulties”

The official roadmap

The roadmap image above is the one Mudtek published on the store page. Read literally, it places Early Access after Steam Next Fest and before an undated Update I, with Full Release last.

Stage Status
Open Playtest September 2025
Demo April 2026
Steam Next Fest June 2026
Early Access Fall 2026 — launched 15 September 2026
Update I TBA
Full Release TBA

Mudtek has not attached dates to Update I or Full Release. The studio describes Early Access as active development and has not published an exit date.

What the 2 September update added

Eight days before launch, Mudtek published the full feature list for the Early Access update. It is the most detailed inventory of what changed, and several items are easy to miss because they are not marketing beats.

Category Added at Early Access
Races New race: the Elf
Classes New class: the Shadow
Regions Two — the expanded Wildwood forest and the Goblin Caves
Bosses New world bosses, with a major boss for each region
Pets 9 unique pets with different abilities
Character Male/female options for every race; improved customisation
Building Furniture, equipment sets, crafting stations, base building options
Combat & systems New elites, new dungeons, difficulty levels, skill tree overhaul
General Quests, NPCs and quality-of-life improvements

Two entries deserve separate attention. Equipment sets were added at launch in some form, but Mudtek has never published their names — only that sets exist. And the skill tree overhaul is why build guidance dated before September 2026 is unreliable.

Localisation at launch

Mudtek’s 2 September post also lists the supported languages, and it is the current authority. The official website FAQ still says English and Simplified Chinese only, which is out of date.

Language Status at Early Access
English Continued
Chinese (Simplified) Continued
Portuguese — Brazil Continued
German New
Korean New
Spanish New
Russian New
Japanese New

That is eight languages on the Steam store page, matching the 2 September announcement.

What is not in Early Access

Being clear about absence prevents wasted searching.

  • Equipment crafting. Mudtek states plainly: “Equipment crafting is not in the game yet, but it’s something we plan to add later,” describing it as a late-Early-Access endgame activity. Monster drops remain the primary loot path.
  • All 8 races and 6 classes. The remaining five races and three classes are 1.0 content. Individual unreleased races have been mentioned in design posts, but Mudtek has not published the full remaining roster.
  • The demo. Taken down 15 July 2026.

About wishlist numbers. Mudtek's launch post mentions nearing 500K wishlists. We record it here as what the developer said on that date, because wishlist counts are a point-in-time figure that cannot be verified afterwards. Do not treat it as a current number.

Where the content actually ends

The completion-rate data suggests most owners have not yet reached the far end of the launch content. Achievement completion for reaching Level 15 sits at 1.4%, Level 20 at 0.2%, and Level 25 at 0.0% at the time of capture.

Read that carefully. It does not mean the content is unreachable — the game launched one day before capture. It means the level 15–25 band is where the current audience is still arriving, and it is the part of the game with the least player consensus so far.

Note Reading roadmap images

The roadmap graphic is embedded inside the store page's long description rather than the screenshot gallery, which is why several third-party sites have not reproduced it. The image is a 1920×540 AVIF/WebP asset hosted on Steam's CDN, not a YouTube video.
