Short answer: nine main quests are named in the official achievement list, covering Act 1's three chapters. 25 side quests exist per the “Local Help” achievement. Repeatable content runs through Tiered Deeds and bounties rather than replaying the story.
Why this page can list quest names at all
Most Dimraeth guides cannot name a single quest. We can, because Mudtek records the main quest names inside the achievement descriptions — the objective text for each story achievement is literally the quest it completes.
Official Achievement description format
Achievements of the form “Complete <name> Quest” identify a main story quest by name. For example: A New Start — “Complete The First Steps Quest”; Heavy is the Crown — “Complete Crown of Thorns Quest”.

That gives nine names, each with a completion rate that can be used to order them.
The nine main quests, in progression order
Sorted by completion rate — highest first — the quest names trace the main story in the order most players reach them.
| # | Quest | Achievement | Completion |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | The First Steps | A New Start | 100.0% |
| 2 | Time Tardy Scout | Help a Lost Elf | 90.1% |
| 3 | A Village in Crisis | Village Hero | 44.7% |
| 4 | The Corrupted Treant | Timber! | 13.9% |
| 5 | The Broken Bridge | River Crosser | 7.1% |
| 6 | Bread and Blood | Blood and Bread | 2.8% |
| 7 | Hoard King’s Fall | Death of a Tyrant | 1.1% |
| 8 | Opening the Throne Path | Corrupted Exploration | 0.3% |
| 9 | Crown of Thorns | Heavy is the Crown | 0.1% |
Note How this order was derived
The sequence above is derived from completion rates, on the reasoning that players complete story quests in roughly linear order. Mudtek has not published a chapter breakdown or a quest list.
We label it as an ordering rather than a confirmed chapter map, because a quest gated behind level or exploration could in principle be completed out of sequence. The relative difficulty is the reliable signal, not the exact positions.

What the completion curve says
The spread across those nine quests is the most informative thing on this page.
| Stage | Quest | Completion | Players lost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Opening | The First Steps | 100.0% | — |
| Early | Time Tardy Scout | 90.1% | −9.9 pts |
| Early-mid | A Village in Crisis | 44.7% | −45.4 pts |
| Mid | The Corrupted Treant | 13.9% | −30.8 pts |
| Mid-late | The Broken Bridge | 7.1% | −6.8 pts |
| Late | Bread and Blood | 2.8% | −4.3 pts |
| Late | Hoard King’s Fall | 1.1% | −1.7 pts |
| Final | Opening the Throne Path | 0.3% | −0.8 pts |
| Final | Crown of Thorns | 0.1% | −0.2 pts |
Two features stand out.
The biggest drop is between the second and third quests. Falling from 90.1% to 44.7% means more than half of all tracked players stop somewhere between the opening errand and the first major crisis. That is a steeper cliff than anything later in the list, including the final quests.
The tail is long and flat. From The Broken Bridge at 7.1% down to Crown of Thorns at 0.1%, the decline is gradual. Players who reach the middle of Act 1 tend to keep going; the attrition is concentrated early.
That shape is useful for planning. If you have finished A Village in Crisis, the data says you are past the point where most players quit, and the remaining story is a matter of continuing rather than a filter.
Side quests
Side quests are tracked separately from the main line, and only two data points exist.
| Milestone | Achievement | Description | Completion |
|---|---|---|---|
| Complete one | First Favor | Complete a side quest | 100.0% |
| Complete 25 | Local Help | Complete 25 side quests | 0.1% |
First Favor at 100.0% means completing a side quest is as unavoidable as completing the first main quest — both are at full completion, so the game funnels every player through at least one of each. That is a deliberate onboarding choice rather than a coincidence.
Local Help at 0.1% sets the total at 25 side quests and places it alongside the hardest content in the game. The same figure covers unlocking all nine pets, defeating Aelwynor and finishing Crown of Thorns. Doing every side quest is a completionist project on the same tier as finishing the story.
Practical read. If you are aiming for full completion, the 25 side quests will take longer than the main story does. The 100.0% to 0.1% span between the first and last side quest achievement is the single widest gap in the list.
Tiered Deeds
Deeds are Dimraeth’s repeatable engagement system, and the achievement wording confirms they scale.
| Milestone | Achievement | Description | Completion |
|---|---|---|---|
| Clear a deed at tier 1 | Cutting Teeth | Complete a tiered deed at tier 1 | 100.0% |
| Push a deed to tier 3 | Tier Pusher | Push a Tiered Deed to Tier 3 and complete it | 0.0% |
Three things are established by those two lines. A deed has at least three tiers. Tiers are pushed, which implies you raise the difficulty yourself rather than selecting a preset. And tier 1 is universally completed — Cutting Teeth sits at 100.0% alongside the first main quest and first side quest, so the game introduces deeds to everyone.
The release announcement describes the endgame version of this system directly.

“For the end game a repeatable deed system with progressive difficulties.”

“Repeatable” and “progressive difficulties” together describe the loop after the story ends: the same content at escalating tiers. That is a different model from replaying quests, and it is why the endgame page treats deeds as the core post-story activity.
Bounties
Bounties were named in the playtest summary as part of the repeatable content set.
Official Playtest summary, 19 September 2025
“You can expect between 2 and 5 hours of content in this playtest, including main quests, side quests, and repeatable deeds/events.”

That phrasing groups deeds and events together as the repeatable layer, distinct from the main and side quests. Bounties also appear in the achievement list as a target rather than a quest type.
Official Achievement description
Bounty Hunter — “Defeat 10 different mini-bosses” — 0.0%
Source: Steam achievement page
The achievement links bounties to mini-bosses, which is the strongest available evidence for what a bounty consists of: a hunt against a named lesser boss rather than a fetch task. Mudtek has not published a bounty list, so no individual bounty can be named.
Quests and the rest of the game
Quest progress sits on the world-bound side of the co-op split, which affects how groups experience the story.
| Content type | Repeatable? | Tracked by |
|---|---|---|
| Main quests (9) | No | Story achievements |
| Side quests (25) | No | First Favor, Local Help |
| Tiered Deeds | Yes, escalating tiers | Cutting Teeth, Tier Pusher |
| Bounties | Yes | Bounty Hunter |
| Mini-bosses | Yes | Bounty Hunter |
Because story progress stays tied to each world while your character travels between them, joining another player’s world means experiencing their quest state rather than advancing your own. For how that split works in detail, see the multiplayer and co-op page.
For the bosses some of these quests lead to, see the bosses page. For the deed tiering that continues after Act 1, see the endgame page. For the full achievement list these figures come from, see the achievements page.
