Short answer: Dimraeth is PC only, sold on Steam for Windows, with full Steam Deck support confirmed by the developer. There is no PS5, Xbox, Switch, Switch 2 or mobile version, and Mudtek has said console releases are not confirmed.

The platform answer in full

The question comes up constantly because Dimraeth’s co-op pitch invites people to plan a purchase with friends, and console availability changes who can join. The official answer is unusually direct.

Official Website FAQ

Question: “What platforms will Dimraeth be available on?”

Answer: “Dimraeth will launch on PC via Steam, with full support for the Steam Deck. At this time, we don't have confirmed plans for console releases. We're focused on delivering the best possible experience on PC first.”

Note the wording. “Not confirmed” is not the same as “will not happen,” and Mudtek’s phrasing — “PC first” — leaves the door open. But no console version exists, no port has been announced, and no release window has been given. Anything more specific than that is speculation.

What Steam’s own data says

Independently of the FAQ, Steam’s store API reports the supported operating systems for app 2402680. The result is unambiguous.

Platform Supported
Windows Yes
macOS No
Linux Listed as not supported — Steam Deck uses Proton

Note Linux vs Steam Deck

Steam Deck runs Windows games through Proton, so “Linux not supported” on the store page does not contradict “full Steam Deck support” in the FAQ. Many decks are also set up for desktop Linux, where the situation may differ from the verified Deck path.

Steam Deck specifics

Mudtek has been unusually open about Deck progress, and the details are more useful than a simple yes.

Official Development update, 20 October 2025

“I've been testing the game on my own Steam Deck and have base combat already working, which has been super exciting to see in action. There's still some work ahead to get the menus, inventory, and other systems fully functional, but it's coming together nicely. We're also planning to have full controller support in before the demo and the next playtest.”

The important detail is that the work covered menus and inventory as well as combat. A game whose combat runs on Deck but whose inventory is mouse-driven is not really Deck-friendly, and Mudtek treated those as part of the same task.

Controller support in practice

The store page lists full controller support along with both DualShock and DualSense entries, which means PlayStation controller prompts and features are recognised rather than merely tolerated.

Input Officially supported
Keyboard & mouse Yes
Gamepad / controller Yes — full support
WASD & mouse hybrid Yes
DualShock (PS4) Listed on store page
DualSense (PS5) Listed on store page
Local split-screen No

What this means for a purchase decision

If you are buying to play with friends, check their hardware first. Because there is no console version, a friend on PlayStation or Xbox cannot join. The co-op pitch of up to eight players only works across PCs.

If Steam Deck is your main device, the developer has prioritised it. Mudtek’s own roadmap placed controller and Deck support ahead of the demo, and the work was described as landing before the playtest cycle, which puts it well before the September 2026 Early Access launch.

If you want a Mac or Linux desktop build, wait. Neither is supported. The Deck path through Proton is the closest thing, and it is specifically what Mudtek tested.

This page will need updating if Mudtek announces a console version. The most reliable place to watch is the official Steam announcements feed, which is where the studio has posted every platform statement to date.
